Pioneer Trails Tree Farm is excited to offer field trips on weekdays from Monday, October 5 thru
Friday, December 11, 2026. A visit to the farm includes a wagon ride and a short talk about the life cycle of a Christmas Tree and being a farmer in Mahoning County. Groups must include a minimum of 15 students. We can accommodate groups of up to 100 at a time (Students and staff or family)

Field trips can be scheduled from 10am until 3pm.

Basic Field Trip $10/student - includes tractor wagon ride, hot cocoa.
Premium Field Trip $18/student - includes wagon ride, hot cocoa, craft in gift shop (decorate
wooden disc), sandwich bag w/ candy cane and wooden coin to take craft home.
Premium Field Trip + Potted Tree $28/student - includes everything in the premium field trip
PLUS a potted tree for each student to take home.
An additional add-on of one mini tree for $3/student is available. (This can be added to any of the field trips)

The group can cut a Christmas tree to take home or leave the tree at the farm to be donated to a family in need (no cost for donated tree). Each Cut Your Own Tree is $80 (includes coupon discount). Most Schools cut a tree and take it back to the school or classroom.
A tree stand will be included with the purchase of each tree.
